One day it increasingly seems that the world around you wants you to go just as fast as they do. The children around you behave differently than you. The new adults around you let you know: \u201cJust act normal, that is crazy enough!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You begin to doubt, to waver, your thoughts forming into one big question mark. You start to isolate yourself, become quiet, or maybe even angry and rebellious. You increasingly adapt to the group, the expectations around you, show yourself less and less, until the moment when you no longer have the energy to let the light of life shine in your eyes in the morning or until thunder and lightning have begun raging constantly within you. A question you never really had to ask yourself if the world around you made room for the full human ‘normal’. Actually, you are very normal, you just go a bit faster, experience more intensely, because you absorb much more information at the same moment than someone else. You are not overly sensitive, not socially-emotionally less capable\u2026 you are just not understood in today’s world which has made ‘normal’ very narrow. You too deserve to walk your own path (Tao) in balance (Yin & Yang) and without force (Wu wei).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Connected development is, however, far from self-evident in today’s world for (exceptionally) gifted children and youngsters, which makes developing a healthy self-image more difficult.
