Meaningful innovation

The urge for innovation or development flows through the veins of every child. Through trial and error, children develop from the moment they are born. It is a joy to see how children can lose themselves in the present moment through their curiosity about life. As an adult, you feel like a child again at the moments when you are allowed to be curious and try things out. While we grow up, innovation also comes with responsibility in the form of connection, because without it, renewal is merely destruction. If you are not connected, you do not develop. If you are not connected, you cannot sustainably build a relationship with others and your natural environment. True innovation supports connection with yourself, others, and the natural environment. Our social and natural environment provides us with everything if we take connected care of it.

Caring is being connected. Caring for yourself, others, and the natural environment is only possible if from birth you are given the space to connect with yourself, others, and your natural environment at your own pace. Connection is not only in your head, but also in your heart, your senses, your experiences. You connect primarily by experiencing, wanting, feeling, smelling, tasting, hearing, seeing, and living through each day, without someone immediately giving it meaning with words. Words limit you and take away the space as a child to be imaginative and spontaneous. It deprives you as a child of the experimental play space to follow your path (Tao) without force (Wu wei) and to find balance (Yin & Yang) within yourself: to go through the natural ecological development in connection with yourself, others, and the natural living environment.

Knowledge without connection has no meaning. Meaningless knowledge causes destruction instead of innovation.

From an ecological Taoist perspective, Trias Vita supports children and young people to develop in a connected way. So that knowledge becomes life force instead of an empty shell.

On March 21, 2026, Trias Vita will start ‘Natural Oasis’. A weekly moment in which children aged 3 to 5, in the presence of their parent(s), are given the space to explore themselves in relation to themselves, each other, and the natural environment.
