Nature does not think in methods. Not every child is delivered to just one and the same method in nature. In nature, every child can find their own path that at that moment best suits their development. Connected with nature, knowledge begins with making contact, experimenting, and gaining experiences. Every book we know is the result of earlier experiences of one of us, our ancestors… Without those experiences, no book would have been written. To be able to understand what is written, earlier experiences are needed on which you can build further. But understanding what is written is still no guarantee that that written knowledge will also stick. The knowledge in books must also be experienced in some form, so that every fibre and every space in the body can store that knowledge as experience.
A child needs space to experience, to live through, to develop. He needs space to follow his own path (Tao) in balance (Yin & Yang) and without force (Wu wei). Free not only to understand, but at the same time also to feel. Fully developing yourself involves both feeling and intellect, not only understanding and feeling what supports your own development but also understanding and sensing others and your natural environment. When you learn to completely intuitively understand and feel your body, you can learn to understand and feel the knowledge of others.
Trias Vita is a centre for lifelong development that supports children and young people to develop in connection with themselves, others, and the natural environment from an ecosystemic Taoist life perspective: finding your path (Tao) in balance (Yin & Yang) and without force (Wu wei).
